Developing Next Artist - DNA is an artist development program that allows emerging artists across a wide variety of disciplines to explore, exercise, and exchange their craft with one another. Through extensive collaboration, and the process of creation, DNA provides all of the tools and resources needed to jumpstart your artistic journey. how it works

THE CONCEPT

Our passion is our art and our art is our passion.  What we do is simple. We create various projects and produce a series of events to collaborate on.  Through the process of working together, we gain leadership and communication skills and best yet a support system made up of incredible artists like you!  The result is a beautiful piece of work, a product of your hard work and of course real-time experience you can’t simply learn trying to do it yourself. Imagine being a raw and talented music artist who has never written an origal song or had the opportunity to record, rehearse or perform in a live show?  Maybe you are choreographer or back-up dancer who dreams of working with an artist on a music video or stage show?  Do you need material for your fashion or photography portfolio or footage for your professional video reel?  At DNA, we are essentially developing one another, helping each to advance the other artists individual dreams and aspirations! It’s a win win situation!

THE Cells

The DNA program departments are broken up into different cells.  Art Cells! Collectively we come together to create unbelievable works of art, to be enjoyed by the masses.   We push the envelope, think outside the box and are always on the forefront of innovation!  Which cell do belong to, or is it many?  Unsure? WHAT TO EXPECT

We conduct our program seasons in 6 month periods or “Episodes.” On an annual basis, we audition in January and in July. As much as we would like to accommodate everybody we cannot, so apply now. We are most interested in working with passionate and hungry artists who are ready to take their craft to the next level. The most that we will expect from you is your absolute best - your dedication and commitment to our program process, members, rehearsals and events.

• We meet every Sunday from 7:00pm to 10:00pm in Torrance

• A lot can happen in a three hour time span, small group work, large group rehearsals, personal time to develop a specific project. The point is you will do it in a super energized space that will motivate and support your process.

• Every episode is different, and is guided by opportunities that present themselves and also the needs of our artists. One day we are learning Music Theory, another day collaborating on a stage show, or shooting a music video on location.

• You will be sure to gain a better understanding of yourselves as you relate to other artists and the world. Give your talent the chance it needs, join us today!
